Job Summary

The BIOS Engineer will design and develop BIOS using a range of applicable technologies (e.g. programming languages, compilers, assemblers, debuggers, Scopes, and other tools) and state-of-art software engineering methodologies. Ideal candidates should be proactive in managing meeting schedules, identifying risks, and delivering high quality software.

Level: Senior Level
Salary range: $120K/yr – $200K/yr

Primary Responsibilities

• Design and development of server BIOS
• Provide BIOS with Aivres design function and cooperate with other units to develop
• Modify and customize BMC according to customers’ requirements, communicate with customers about requirements details, respond to and solve customers’ problems
• Perform BMC test tasks

Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering
• Minimum 7 year of relevant work experience in low level software development
• Minimum 7 year of experience with either Legacy BIOS code or UEFI code
• Strong background in software design with C, C++ and/or Assembly is a plus
• Solid understanding of PC hardware architecture, BIOS, and Linux is required
• Work independently and be self-motivated
• Must be a team player, have passion for software development and have excellent communication skills
• English and Mandarin fluency highly preferred
