Job Summary

Level: Mid-Senior Level
Salary range: $80K/yr – $150K/yr

Primary Responsibilities

  • Participate in the top-level design and implementation of the company’s overall export control compliance system, as well as compliance communication and collaboration with external partners.
  • Contribute to the optimization of the company’s export compliance management system by formulating and implementing export compliance policies, procedures, and guidelines. Support the daily export compliance operations of various business units, including but not limited to regulatory interpretation, policy analysis, and risk assessment.
  • Assist in establishing the company’s export compliance training system, providing export control compliance training to employees at all levels. Enhance employees’ awareness of export compliance risks and improve the risk management capabilities of different business units.
  • Evaluate the export control compliance of business operations, support the company’s daily trade compliance blacklist screening, and conduct necessary export compliance reviews for high-risk business activities or business partners.
  • Research export control policies, legislation, and enforcement trends, assess their impact on the company’s operations, continuously refine the company’s export compliance policies and processes, and provide proactive compliance guidance to business units.

Qualifications

  • Fluent in English and Chinese, with the ability to use it as a working language.
  • Experience in law firms or legal compliance roles in large corporations is preferred.
  • Familiarity with the fundamental principles of corporate compliance management, with experience in compliance system development preferred.
  • Strong communication and writing skills, self-motivated, and capable of handling work pressure.
